SBM2 was founded as a third-fire ceramic lab and, starting from the mid-1980s, it started to conduct experiments on marble for the first time. In the early 1990s, the lab began to work on marble pebbles and meanders, simultaneously enlarging the activity area and building a sales network. That is how the “Anticati di Bottega” were created.
The ability to improve processing techniques was such that within a few years, the company had placed itself in an emerging position within the national market.
Entrepreneurial dynamism, supported by the results achieved, has led the company to provide its industrial structures with state-of-the-art manufacturing plants and techniques over the years, featuring products and solutions which are full of technology.
Production techniques, which have been developed in compliance with an artisan tradition, but with modern and rational production methods. The company has efficiency equal to that of a large company, but with the meticulousness and care of an artisan.
With their eyes fixed on constant development, the company currently exports almost 60% of its output to over 60 countries, with a remarkable presence in markets across five continents.
