Founded in the same year that the Euro currency came into effect, in 2000, the company used such an occasion to create its corporate logo, naming the company EURO CHERAMICHE Joux – Vallet s.r.l. The foundation of Euro Ceramiche allowed for the takeover of the successful company Usel Festaz, which had been working in the field of ceramics since the 1970s, during the flourishing development of the construction industry. The wisdom and professional abilities of the company, which back then had its headquarters in Gressan, enabled a showroom to be opened in Charvensod in 1900, thus becoming an important sales and distribution point for ceramics in Valle d’Aosta. With the purchase of the company Usel-Festaz, the company Euro Ceramiche could already count on a long list of loyal customers, which it managed to strengthen and increase during these 10 years of business by combining distribution, apart from ceramic, wood and gluing materials, with efficient services. In this way, loyalty of the end customer is built.
Although having invested time and resources to increase competence in showrooms, as well as training showroom staff, we felt the need to undertake new initiatives and aim at maintaining a satisfying turnover. Considering the favourable geographic position of Valle d’Aosta, bordering with France and Switzerland, with two international tunnels and the appreciation of made-in-Italy tiles abroad, and, last but not least, the knowledge of the French language, Euro Ceramiche has undertaken new initiatives. As a matter of fact, in 2005, the company Euroceramiche France in Cluses, in the Upper Savoy region, was founded and a showroom for sales and distribution of the brands, already marketed in Valle d’Aosta, was opened. Such initiatives enabled Euro Ceramiche to strengthen its own balance sheets and to introduce its brand to nearby Switzerland. Although aware of the economic crisis in progress, after more than 10 years of work on the current showroom and having confidence in the recovery of the tiles market, Euro Ceramiche has made an important investment, by building a more modern and efficient showroom to display advanced and state-of-the-art products, hence satisfying more up-to-date and demanding clients. The new showroom was opened in May 2011.
